Additional Information

  • $3 million of the funds provided shall be for on-the-job pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship training programs registered with the Department of Labor, for the construction, repair, and alteration of Federal buildings.
  • Not less than $5,000,000,000 of the funds provided shall be obligated by September 30, 2010, and the remainder of the funds shall be obligated no later than September 30, 2011.
  • The General Services Administration shall submit a detailed plan, by project, the use of funds to the House and Senate Appropriations Committees within 45 days of enactment, and shall provide notification to the Committees within 15 days prior to any changes regarding the use of these funds.
  • The Administrator of General Services shall report to House and Senate Appropriations Committees on the obligation of these funds on a quarterly basis beginning on June 30, 2009.
