No, there is no charge to obtain a Fleet Identification Number (FIN).

Q. Do I currently have a Fleet Identification Number (FIN)?

Please call 1-800-34-FLEET (35338), pick #1 to speak to an analyst to inquire if your company/agency currently has a Fleet Identification Number (FIN). Please have your company or agencies full name and zip code available.

Q. Can I purchase units under my personal name using my Fleet Identification Number (FIN)?

No, the Fleet Identification Number (FIN) is only valid for units purchased and titled to a company or Government agency. Please note that the only exception is for Limousine or Livery customers.

Q. What if I don't qualify for a Fleet Identification Number (FIN)?

If you do not qualify for a FIN code, please contact your local Ford or Lincoln Mercury Dealer for information on other programs that may meet your business needs.

Product/Order Status

Q. Where can I place my orders?

All orders must be placed through your Ford or Lincoln Mercury Dealer or Fleet Management Company. The FCIC provides a communication link between the Ford Motor Company and our Ford Fleet Accounts. However, orders cannot be placed through the FCIC.

Q. How can I change my vehicle orders?

All changes must be submitted through your Ford or Lincoln Mercury Dealer or Fleet Management Company. Generally, non-VSO orders may be changed up to two weeks prior to production. However, once they have reached "locked in" status they cannot be changed or cancelled.

Q. How do I find the status of my vehicle order?

For Fleet customers with a valid Fleet Identification Number (FIN) and an ID and password for the Fleet website can access their order status through the Order Status tool. This is found under the Ordering Center tab on this website.

Q. Where can fleet customers locate product information?

Product information can be obtained through the Showroom section of the Fleet website and also through a local Ford or Lincoln Mercury Dealer. Fleet customers, with a valid Fleet code and an ID and password for the Fleet website can access the vehicle Order Guides through the Fleet website.

Q. Where can I find information on Alternative Fuel Vehicles?

You can visit the Environmental Vehicles page on the Fleet website. You will also find a section of related links to take you to additional resources.

Vehicle Pricing/Incentives

Q. Can I, as a fleet customer, take advantage of fleet incentives along with retail rebates?

No, as a fleet customer you can choose either fleet incentives or retail rebates, but cannot combine the two.

Q. Can the Fleet Customer Information Center (FCIC) advise of vehicle pricing and incentive amounts?

Questions on vehicle pricing or incentives should be directed to your Ford or Lincoln Mercury Dealer or Fleet Management Company.

Q. How do I obtain a user I.D. and password for the Fleet website?

A Ford Fleet website access code can be obtained for Fleet customers with a valid Fleet Identification Number (FIN). Please visit the website registration page or call 1-800-34-FLEET (35338); pick #1, then pick #2 (website support) for your Access code. Please have your Fleet Identification Number (FIN) available when you call.

Q. Can more than one person from my company or agency have access to the Fleet website?

Yes, we do not limit the number of users. Each person will need to register for their own website user id and password; they are not to be shared.

Q. What do I do if I cannot remember or lost my ID and password?

You can fill out the Forgot Your Password form and we will email you back your ID and/or password.

Q. How can I locate a dealer in my area who services a particular vehicle line?

You can search for a dealership in your area by using our Dealer Locator on the Fleet website. You can specify dealers who service and/or sells certain types of specialty vehicles (i.e. hybrid or limousine dealers).
